With my favorite song on my headphones,
with the worst over I walk home.

No branch obscures the beautiful view
of the stars so far and high.
Then I look at one particular star,
then a planet, then a being,
doing the same thing as me –
light years away, still this I’m seeing.
This being I look at
is a creature quite like me –
